Zeus's Lego Bin
Termessos was the site of an ancient kingdom high in the mountains north of Antalya. They were fierce enough to turn away Alexander the Great. The Romans left them alone as well. Today there are half built structures, sarcophagi, and spare parts strewn all over this incredibly rugged terrain. The theater backs up to the side of a cliff with a spectacular view. It would be hard enough to build in this area with modern technology, never mind 2,000 years ago. Climbing up and down through all this, it was clear the bird's eye view of this place would compare favorably to one of M's boxes of building blocks.
